The crossword solver is simple to use. Enter the clue from your crossword in the first input box above. Then in the pattern box let us know how many letters the answer should be. You don't have to use this box but it helps tremendously in cutting out potential incorrect solutions. If you know the answer is 5 letters and starts with a T, you can enter 5 OR T???? OR T4, which will all work. T???? and T4 are more descriptive since it lets us know that T is the first lettes.
After using, please let us know if you were able to find the correct answer!
Hope you enjoy using what we feel is the best crossword solver out there. We love monkeys, and know that their intelligence is through the roof. Primates tend to have the largest brains, hence our website name.
The best tip we can give you is to use the PATTERN feature! This will help narrow down your results in a very effective way. Just make sure to carefully enter the pattern because if it is incorrect, you will not see your correct solution in the answer list.
Whether you are completing a difficult newspaper crossword or online challenge, we should be able to assist. We are including cryptic crosswords as well as we see their growth in popularity. Have a look around and do let us know if we are missing any popular crossword publications, or specific crossword clues. Use our crossword solver above to help complete your crossword grid! Solving a crossword puzzle can be difficult, especially those tricky puzzles that appear later in the week. But the Crossword Monkey is here to help! Through rigorous compilation, we have gathered and documented tons of answers from the New York Times, USA Today, Buzzfeed, and many more publications. We have a database of over a million clues that you can search from.
Here's how it works: Simply enter in the crossword clue in the first box. Example ("Fruit type"). In the second box enter in the PATTERN of letters in your puzzle. Use "?" for unknown letters. Example ("b???n?" Meaning you already know the letters of two squares of a 7 letter word. Now click on Solve! Viola! you can see the answers given to known crossword clues. You can also enter "b3n1" with the numbers indicating how many unknown letters in place. Other scenarios: If you know none of the letters in the answer, but know its a 4 letter word, you would enter "????" and then click solve. Note it may take longer to solve your clue if you know 0 letters in the word. For fill in the blank clues you can ignore the blank and continue with a space in the clue. For clues that reference another clue number such as 13 across, you can enter that in but will be helpful to have a pattern with more letters for more accurate results.
